This holiday season I participated in the Holiday Card Swap organized by Vane of Brooklyn Bride (which by the way is an awesome wedding blog that I read daily). Basically you submit your name to Vane and she sends you the names/addresses of four people to whom you send your handmade holiday cards. These same four people also send you their cards. It’s a great way to flex your creativity muscle and also to see what other craftsters are doing. And who doesn’t love getting fun cards in the mail!
For my snowman card, I sketched the overall design first. Then I cut out the elements out of different color paper and glued the whole thing to cardstock paper. Check out the Holiday Card Swap post on Brooklyn Bride. There are tons of amazing handmade cards and you can see my card in the second photo!
